Accountant - Immediate start!!

Job description

Join our clients dynamic and growing team at a leading national company in NZ. With a commitment to excellence and a client-centric approach, they provide a trade services to home owners throughout NZ. 
They are looking for a skilled and motivated accountant to join the team and contribute to their growth and development plans. 

 As an Accountant you will play a key role in providing exceptional financial and tax services. You will have the opportunity to work with international IFRS standards and auditing needs.
This role is urgent, we require a CA or CPA qualified accountant with immediate availability and permanent working rights in NZ. 

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and reports.
  • Conducting financial analysis and offering strategic financial advice.
  • Assisting with compliance requirements and tax planning.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to solve complex accounting challenges.
  • Staying updated on tax laws and regulations to provide expert guidance.
  • IFRS reporting and auditing requirements. 

Key Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification a must!
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have vaild working rights for NZ.
