The Opportunity:
As our in-house Chartered Structural Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing Bridge It NZ as the premier bridge design and construction company in New Zealand. You'll lead our design efforts, drive innovation, and help us become a fully comprehensive turn-key bridge provider.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee structural engineering design of bridges
- Manage industry and regulatory compliance
- Produce PS1 design reports, calculations, and PS4 documentation
- Oversee drafting and Building Consent applications
- Provide technical support during construction and installation
- Drive efficiencies and innovations in bridge designs
- Offer technical expertise to the Sales team
- Contribute to company strategy as part of the senior team
What we’re looking for:- Chartered Structural Engineer qualification
- Strong understanding of bridge design principles
- Pragmatic approach to decision-making
- Innovative mindset, always seeking better solutions
- Team-focused attitude, motivated by collective success
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- Tauranga-based or willing to relocate
