IT Support Technician/Field Tech

Our Client is a reputable Managed Service Provider (MSP) that partners with industry-leading clients to deliver IT solutions and services. 

Job Summary
You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful migration of the client’s systems as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during the process, and providing technical support to end-users. 

Key Responsibilities
- Execute OS Upgrades within the agreed timeline and quality standards.
- Ensure that all hardware and installed software on client laptops are compatible with Windows 11 prior to upgrade.
- Diagnose and resolve any technical issues encountered during or after the upgrade process
- Provide technical support to end-users, assisting them with post-upgrade queries and addressing any concerns. 
- Conduct pre-upgrade testing on laptops to ensure all systems are functional post-upgrade.
- Ensure that all laptops meet security and compliance standards after the upgrade. Take necessary precautions to protect user data during the upgrade process.
- Maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent customer service skills when interacting with the client and their staff.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in IT support, specifically in large-scale OS upgrades
- Familiarity with deployment tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), or other relevant technologies.
- Experience with laptops, desktops, and peripheral device configuration and troubleshooting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks during large-scale rollouts.
- Microsoft Certified advantageous.


This is an onsite role so must be available to work at the clients location for the duration of the contract.
