We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager, preferably with a trade background to lead our Dunedin branch. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless management of branch operations, overseeing installations, managing suppliers, and leading internal installation and trade teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Branch Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dunedin branch, ensuring efficiency and productivity in all aspects of the business.
  • Installations: Manage and coordinate the installation of sustainable energy systems with the team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of internal installation and trade professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality control processes to ensure all installations meet industry standards and client expectations.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably within the sustainable energy sector and/or trade space. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, clients, and team members.
  • Knowledge of sustainable energy solutions and industry best practices.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards.
