The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Network Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving success for our clients by delivering cutting-edge network solutions that align with their business goals. You’ll engage directly with senior stakeholders, ensuring that their network infrastructure is designed and implemented to the highest standards. This is a key leadership position, where you’ll leverage your deep technical expertise and consulting skills to deliver comprehensive solutions from discovery and design, through to implementation and operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Consulting: Lead customer engagements to design and deliver bespoke network solutions, ensuring outcomes are aligned with business objectives.
  • Service Design: Architect tailored network infrastructure solutions, including LAN/WAN, SDN, and security frameworks, meeting both technical and strategic goals.
  • Implementation Oversight: Manage and execute the deployment of network systems, ensuring seamless integration with client environments and on-time delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor for clients, presenting complex technical concepts in a clear and business-aligned manner.
  • Operational Handover: Ensure smooth transitions from project implementation to ongoing support by collaborating with operational teams and creating comprehensive documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and contribute to the evolution of service offerings, helping to refine processes and expand technical capabilities.
Key Experience and Skills:

  • 10+ Years in Senior IT Roles: Proven track record of delivering complex network consulting and service design projects in customer-facing roles.
  • Customer Engagement: Strong experience managing the entire lifecycle of customer engagements, from initial requirements gathering through to post-deployment support.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of enterprise-level network technologies, including but not limited to routing, switching, SDN, WAN, LAN, cloud connectivity, and network security.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: A strong team player capable of leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with various stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to align network solutions with overall business strategies, ensuring that technical implementations deliver tangible business value.
