Job description

Are you an experienced health and safety professional looking for a dynamic opportunity in property and construction risk assessment? A well-established organisation is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Risk Assessor to join their team.
This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with a range of clients across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive property and site risk assessments to identify hazards.
  • Prepare clear, professional reports using bespoke systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure access, inspections, and follow-ups.
  • Support health & safety project work, such as roof and construction site safety inspections.
  • Regular travel across New Zealand to client sites - once a month regional travel. 
About You:
  • Relevant health & safety qualifications (advantageous).
  • Experience in property or construction sectors is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive self-starter with sound time management.
  • Proficiency in computer-based systems and willingness to learn.

  • Competitive salary: $90,000 - $110,000 - experience dependant.
