Our client is a leading provider of cutting-edge network solutions, renowned for delivering innovative and secure technology services to enterprise clients across New Zealand. As they continue to expand their portfolio so does the need for head count. We are looking for a highly skilled and self-managed Solutions Architect to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in helping their clients navigate complex challenges and implement robust solutions tailored to their specific needs.

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising enterprise-level network solutions. You will work closely with their clients, who are often strong personalities, requiring a professional who is both assertive and influential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and will thrive in a role that demands self-management and proactive problem-solving. Expertise in Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, Meraki, and Cloudflare is essential, as these technologies form the backbone of the solutions we provide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Collaborate with enterprise clients to design tailored network solutions that meet their unique needs, leveraging expertise in Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, Meraki, and Cloudflare technologies.
  
  
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and constraints. Use your influential communication style to manage expectations and guide decision-making.
  
  
• Implementation & Integration: Lead the implementation of network solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  
  
• Documentation: Create detailed documentation for designs, configurations, and procedures. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Troubleshooting & Optimisation: Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, making recommendations for improvements and implementing optimisation to ensure maximum efficiency and security.
  
  
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, managing their expectations and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project life cycle.
  
  
  

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Solutions Architect role, with a strong background in networking and security.
  
  
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, Meraki, and Cloudflare technologies. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CCSA, NSE) are highly desirable.
  
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Ability to convey complex technical information to a range of audiences.
  
  
• Client Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with enterprise clients, including the ability to influence and manage.
  
  

Our client is currently at capacity and requires a contractor to start immediately. With the amount of work in the pipeline the likelihood of extension is high.
