Territory Sales Manager - Waikato/BOP

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our client’s growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding market presence within an assigned territory. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for sustainable energy and a proven track record in sales.

 
Key Candidate Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction to develop referral opportunities and returning customers.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs and trade show representation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, installation, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to senior management.
 
Key Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within solar or sub-trades.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Must have valid permanent NZ working rights.
