The Role:- Lead a team to plan and deliver critical transportation projects, balancing urban and rural priorities.
- Build and restructure an in-house team while managing contractors and stakeholders.
- Engage closely with communities, including iwi and hapū, to align infrastructure with local needs.
- Oversee budgets, contracts, and network maintenance to ensure efficient operations.
About You:- Senior-level experience in transportation or roading management, ideally in remote or rural areas.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in cultural and community collaboration.
- Expertise in project, financial, and asset management, with a solid background in road construction and maintenance.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering, transport planning, or related fields.
